I'm WVUA23's Jacyn Abbott, or so I was. I am a graduate of the University of Alabama. My time at the capstone and at the station closed in May 2022.

WVUA23 not only grew my passion for audio and video storytelling, but the Tuscaloosa-based station that served West Alabama set my foundation to do so effectively. I started in production and grew into the newsroom.

 

I learned to operate equipment and how to shoot, edit and interview. I hope you enjoy the stories I put together as much as I enjoyed creating them.
