...in Birmingham, AL

In my last semester at The University of Alabama, I  created interactive multimedia projects for The World Games 2022 on July 11-17th in Birmingham, Alabama.

Our interactive multimedia projects were done for the sporting venues that hosted 30 official sports. They included 54 disciplines which encompassed 206 events.

I had so much fun traveling to Birmingham to shoot with my classmates and collaborating back in the classroom.

During TWG 2022, I was an engineering assistant with the highlighting crew. With this opportunity, I helped shoot events and interview athletes two drone pilots for a sports profile feature, and meet and help interview the President of the Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach.

Below are some photos from three weeks of fun in the sun, the interactive tours of venues I created, and the interviews I contributed to.

East Exhibit Hall (1,2,3) in the BJCC

This is the Thinglink tour I created of the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Complex (BJCC) East Exhibit Hall 1,2&3. The World Games 2022 is using this area for Floorball and Korfball.

John Carol Catholic High School

This is another Thinglink tour I created of John Carroll High School. At this venue, The World Games 2022 converted the football field to host the Flying Disc Competition.

Within all of the Thinglink tours created by our class is a Google Map that holds details about food, entertainment, and points of interest that are near the venues being facilitated by The World Games 2022. My Google Map is of the BJCC.
