The name is pronounced "Jason". Yes, like the boy. My mom loves my dad so much, and when I was born, she thought it would be the perfect name for me.

After graduating from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in News Media, I packed my bags and moved to eastern North Carolina. I serve the region as their weekday Sunrise Anchor at WITN News in Greenville.

Originally, I'm from a suburb outside Nashville, Tennessee, and plan to plant my roots there again. With no timeline to get back home, I am taking advantage of the experiences and opportunities in front of me.

I have always loved writing, taking pictures, people, and storytelling, and have the desire to be a bridge that connects the community to valuable information. 

 

I love life, sports, food, traveling, and everything that comes with trying new things. So, here's to the adventures of life, along with everything else.  ROLL TIDE!  ;)
