I have called Greenville home since September 2022. 

 

I joined the news team as an evening weekend anchor and multi-media journalist (mmj).

In February 2023, I was promoted to anchor and produce ENC at Three. It's a local lifestyle show used to highlight, showcase, and share heartwarming stories from the eastern North Carolina area and around the country. I produced, anchored, and scouted stories, conducted live interviews, and webbed them for social media and the station website. 

 

Not long after getting my footing in ENC at Three, I was asked by management to consider the morning anchor position. Since mid-March 2023, I have woken up with many eastern Carolinians Monday through Friday from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m. presenting local, national, and live interview content.

 

Off the screen, I am responsible for maintaining and updating the website, social media outlets, following up and setting interviews for potential reporter stories, producing and sharing content on CTV software, and coordinating stories with the morning MMJ/ noon anchor.

In my young career, I have had the opportunity to fill many roles. Not only has this given me a unique perspective of a newsroom, but provided a deeper knowledge of what it takes to put a newscast together.
